As Mother’s we are usually the ones behind the camera, we rarely take the time to actually be IN the photos with our loved ones.

Introducing… our Black & White Connection Portraits.

Introducing our new series of Connection Portraits… Fine Art Black & White images.  As in all of our portraits, we focus on the connection between you and your loved ones.  These sessions take place in the comfort of our Baltimore photo studio.

This particular series will all be created in black and white fine art style.  Black and White images are perfect for focusing on the connection and taking away all the distractions.  They look gorgeous in any home and are the perfect piece to admire every day.

Our Mother’s Day Connection Portraits will take place on Saturday, May 12th.  We look forward to meeting and connecting with you!

Mother’s Day Portraits Benefit Share Baby!

We love partnering with deserving non-profits!  This year we are partnering with ShareBaby.  A portion of the session fee + portrait orders will be donated to ShareBaby!  Our goal is to raise enough so we can donate 4,000 diapers!

Did you know that according to the Annie E. Casey Foundation, 33% of children in Baltimore live below the poverty line – the highest rate in Maryland. ShareBaby is helping to fill the gap an has reached nearly 1,000 of our City’s most vulnerable babies and small children with over 150,000 essential items including 1,000,000 diapers!

Helpful tips for your Mother’s Day Black & White Connection Portrait:

What to Wear?

• Keep it simple.  Wear darker clothing so faces stand out and are highlighted in the images.
• No patterns, solid colors only.
• Textures in jean shirts or sweaters are good.
• Kids can come barefoot – cute kiddie toes are always fun

 

Who are these Mother’s Day sessions for?

• Best for children 4 months or older.  You are never too old for images with your mom!!
• Mothers / Grandmothers / Godmothers / Aunt / Anyone who is a mother figure in your life

 

What to expect?

• We will create images with mom + all the children
• Mom with each child
• A mix of images of mom with each child, as time allows

As with our family portraits and high school senior portraits, we are offering our beautiful prints, wall portraits and keepsake boxes.  Plus corresponding digital images are included with selected portrait pieces. Beautiful prints begin at $75 and special offering collections begin at $395.
