Local Benefiting Charities
Marian House is a holistic, healing community for women and their children who are in need of housing and rehabilitative services. We provide a safe, sober, and loving environment that challenges women to respect and love themselves, confront emotional and socioeconomic barriers, and transition to stable and independent lives.
HER Resiliency Center (HER) supports all women, and serves young women ages 18-25, regardless of race, class, and background. HER encapsulates a multilateral, holistic, and individualized approach – which is needed when combating systemic barriers that lead to poverty, substance use, homelessness, and sexual exploitation. No two women are identical and HER recognizes recovery, healing, and empowerment is an individualized journey.
Starboard Society is a non-profit organization providing short-term, high-impact assistance to working Maryland families in need, due to an unforeseen event or circumstances that has created a financial hardship. This includes loss of a loved one, divorce, illness, loss of transportation and more.

Why I’m Doing The Worthy Book
Shayna believes that every woman deserves to be seen.
Her heart has always been dedicated to uplifting women in her community. Through her own journey of rediscovering confidence after a life-changing divorce, she found her passion in helping other women uncover their inner strength and beauty.
Celebrating women from all over Maryland, Pennsylvania, Delaware and Virginia, Shayna’s studio embraces how women want to FEEL, not just how they want to look.
Life is about getting out of our comfort zones and making the most of what we have been given.
Every woman deserves to be seen! The Worthy Book is your chance to give thanks to YOU! You’ve done so much and we rarely take a moment to reflect on all we do. This is your time to give Gratitude to You and a chance to inspire & help local women through this fundraiser.
