Let’s celebrate Mom! (and help others too!)

Mom is usually the one behind the camera snapping pictures of the kids and the rest of the family.  I want to assure that mom is now in the photos!  So she can exist in pictures with her little ones!

In addition to celebrating mom, I wanted to bring awareness to a new local grassroots organization started here in Baltimore, Backpack Rescue.  They provide a backpack full of clothing and essential items for victims of human trafficking – right here in Maryland!

Their goal…  “Each backpack we create has a purpose and a goal. The goal is to reach into someone’s soul and tell them they are not alone, they are not forgotten, and love is alive and beating strong in this world.”

ALL of the session fees plus a portion of the print sales will be donated so Backpack Rescue can distribute full backpacks to the local organizations who work with saving human trafficking victims.

FAQs for the Mother’s Day Sessions:

  • What to Wear?
    • Solid colors are best!  If you would like to include a pattern, only one person should wear the pattern and then others can wear solid colors from that same pattern.  I always encourage coordinating instead of “matchy-matchy”.  You could wear similar colors – like all blue tones.  Or complimentary colors (blue + orange or green + pink) as examples.
  • What can I expect during my session?
    • The session will last about 15 minutes.  This is just enough time to capture approximately 10-12 images for your selection.  I will create images of mom + the kids together.  As time allows, I will also have images of just the kids and possibly each child individually.  We will do a mix of “everyone looking” at the camera photos plus candid/interactive images too.
  • How do I order?
    • After your session, you will drop the kids off in our play room.  We will have a dedicated babysitter from Seeking Sitters there to play and entertain the kids while you make your selections.
    • Your Ordering Appointment will take approximately 20-30 minutes to select your portraits and make your collection selection.
    • You print orders will be ready in approximately 2-3 weeks after your session.
  • How will I enjoy these images in my home?
    • We have a variety of wall portrait and print options available.  Special pricing is being made available for this limited edition event.  Canvas & framed wall portraits begin at $280. Digital + Print collections begin at $380.  Print collections at $135. Digital Individual desktop prints are $40.
