I recently had my very first boudoir shoot with Shayna, and it was so much more than I ever could have imagined. Over the past few years, I’ve been through deep loss, illness, and depression. I had to cut off ten inches of my hair due to illness and worked hard to lose forty pounds I had gained from it. Nearing fifty years old, I wanted to do something special; something that would remind me I’m still alive, strong, and beautiful.

From the moment I stepped into Shayna’s studio, she made me feel comfortable, safe, and cared for. She was incredibly patient and kind, gently guiding me until I was smiling and relaxed in front of the camera. I went into this hoping to feel a little spark again, and Shayna gave me so much more.

The photos turned out beyond anything I ever dreamed. They were so stunning that for the first time, I felt no fear in sharing them. Seeing myself through her lens was healing in a way I didn’t expect; it gave me back a piece of confidence I thought I had lost forever.

Shayna, thank you from the bottom of my heart for this experience. You didn’t just take beautiful photos, you helped me reclaim a part of myself. I will cherish these forever, and I will absolutely be referring you to everyone I possibly can.

The environment was beautiful with different staging options for the different outfits I had chose for myself. Drinks, snacks and my choice of music was provided, along with hair and makeup application that can be done right there which was so helpful!! After the photos were done, she put together a slideshow for me to pick the ones I liked most. The photos exceeded my expectations and I was amazed by how many photos I ACTUALLY liked of myself. This was such an amazing experience, and I will be surely referring friends and family for the foreseeable future 🙂

OMG where to begin!? Shayna is phenomenal, professional, hospitable and kind with a keen eye. Especially for bringing out one's beauty while putting one at ease and capturing your best self. We went to her for our family photos and they are amazing. It was worth the drive and time and everything was included and arranged (makeup). Shayna is a treasure and incredibly talented.
