We Believe In Community
Our community believes in community. Ever since this crisis began I have been wracking my brain about how I can give back. How can I help in a way that makes sense for me?
I can't wait to get back to work. I will get back there but for now I am being safe and not doing any sessions until we are given the "all clear".
So for now, I wanted to help where I can. Since I normally donate sessions to many charities to help them raise funds, I can still do that right now.
I have worked with the Baltimore Child Abuse Center for the last several years in various capacities. They do such great work and I love supporting them. Unfortunately, child abuse doesn't stop just because a virus has put our city and country into a crisis. In fact, I suspect that abuse will be on the rise and the kids have no where to escape.
The Baltimore Hunger Project was put in place to help families on the weekends with food items. But since schools are closed they have kicked it into high gear and now supporting 2,300 children each week.
